General Accountant

Description

The General Accountant plays an essential role in supporting Anthesis's day-to-day financial operations, contributing directly to accurate and compliant financial processes across the region and Group entities. Positioned within the finance team and reporting to functional managers in the region that he/she may be assigned to, this role is responsible for executing foundational accounting tasks, such as daily bookkeeping, supplier payments, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with Anthesis's standards and accounting policies). The General Accountant also supports the month-end closing process by preparing preliminary financial reports and organizing documentation to aid audit readiness and financial transparency.
