General / Anatomical Pathologist

Job Description

The , Moose Jaw, invites applications for Laboratory Physicians with training, expertise and/or experience in General Pathology; particularly Anatomical Pathology; to express their interest in joining our Department of Laboratory Medicine.


The successful candidate(s) will join our team to provide General Pathology services to the patients of southwest Saskatchewan, based out of the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, SK, Canada.


The General Pathologist, under the direction of the Department Lead for Laboratory Medicine, is responsible of the provision of high quality patient care by timely and accurate reporting of pathology results. Duties include examination of surgical specimens, examination of cytological preparations, performance and evaluation of autopsies and the interpretation of these and other laboratory tests to provide diagnostic information to physicians and health care practitioners.
