General Anesthesiologist at ARHCC

Join the dedicated team at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre as a General Anesthesiologist. This full-time role involves working with a diverse range of surgeries, including General Surgery and Obstetrics.
ARHCC is looking for two full-time General Anesthesiologists to support increased elective surgical volumes. With a commitment to high-quality patient care, you will work alongside a team of 15 FTE Anesthesiologists in a Level II trauma center. Opportunities include anesthetizing pediatric patients and engaging in on-call duties as part of the department’s schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer anesthesia for elective surgeries, including General Surgery and Obstetrics
• Manage anesthesia for pediatric patients aged 4 years and older
• Participate in on-call rotations within the department
• Provide anesthesia services to the Cancer Agency for Brachytherapy
• Cover consults and Acute Pain Service as needed
