About the role
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient general clerk to join our retail team at Suria Jerai Electrical Sdn Bhd's store in Ayer Itam, Penang. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth running of our busy retail operations.
Able to perform a 2-shift working pattern am to 7.15pm & 12.45pm to 9.30pm)
What you'll be doing
Cashier Duties
• Operate POS system for sales transactions accurately.
• Accept cash, debit/credit card or e-wallet payments.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges according to company policy.
• Prepare daily sales reports and cash handovers to supervisors.
Customer Service
• Greet customers in a friendly manner and help answer questions.
• Provide basic product or price information.
• Handle customer complaints or refer to supervisors.
