Job Description
Elevate patient care as a General Imaging Radiological Technologist at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Northern Zone. Operate diagnostic equipment independently while applying expert judgment and safety principles for optimal patient outcomes.
In this full-time, permanent role, you'll report to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging. Focus on providing patient-centered care with minimal supervision, executing various diagnostic procedures utilizing ionizing radiation. Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment while promoting workplace safety, and ensure you are responsive to patient needs throughout all procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate radiological equipment with minimal supervision
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using ionizing radiation
• Maintain patient safety by applying the ALARA principle
• Foster effective communication in a multidisciplinary team
• Travel to other health sites as required
