General Internist - Eagle Ridge Hospital

Job Summary

The Department of Medicine at Eagle Ridge Hospital is recruiting two general internists skilled in the management of complex inpatients. Responsibilities will include a combination of clinical care, teaching, and quality improvement, with the mix of responsibilities depending on the successful candidate’s background and job profile. Competitive candidates will possess outstanding clinical, communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills that enable them to work collaboratively with other physicians, learners, hospital staff and administrators.

Currently Eagle Ridge Hospital has an existing High Acuity Unit/Monitored Care Unit (MCU) fully staffed by 3 existing Internists. The two new Internists hired will be involved in the development and running of a new 15-bed Internal Medicine unit (IMU) for medically complex patients.
