General Ledger Accountant

Responsibilities

• Perform daily GL operations including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
• Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts such as bank, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing with financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Prepare consolidation and elimination entries as well as cash flow schedules.
• Manage fixed assets accounting, prepayments, and payroll/flux analysis.
• Perform intercompany billing and foreign currency revaluation.
• Maintain ERP master data including COA, department codes, project codes, and FX rates.
• Support compliance activities including internal and external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Assist with U.S. reporting requirements (surveys, disclosures, etc.).
• Identify and drive process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
