General Maintenance Supervisor

PWO Canada is a Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier for auto manufacturers globally. We are one of five subsidiaries in the PWO AG Group, manufacturing lightweight metal components for the automotive industry.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The purpose of the position of Maintenance Supervisor is to monitor all maintenance related activities. The position investigates unusual problems effecting production and determines solutions. The Maintenance Supervisor repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with established safety procedures. The incumbent follows the goals and objectives of the Maintenance Manager.

NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

All hourly maintenance department staff report to the Supervisor.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all maintenance activities assigned. He/she provides daily work orders. The position responds to any problems employees have and investigates problems as required....
