Unlike a standard logistics GM role, this position requires a technical environmental background. You are expected to navigate complex global regulations (like Extended Producer Responsibility) while optimizing cost-per-ton metrics and reducing the carbon footprint of the recycling process itself.
As the General Manager with International Trade and Logistics (Garments on Hanger) logistics experience, it is a specialized niche within the global supply chain designed to move apparel from manufacturers to retail floors without the need for folding or re-pressing.
