General Practitioner Oncology Role

Step into the role of General Practitioner Oncologist with Vancouver Coastal Health at Squamish General Hospital. Deliver exceptional cancer care to patients in a part-time setting.
This role is offered at 0.2 FTE, approximately 12 hours weekly over 26 weeks per year. As a key team member, you will provide patient care in both ambulatory and inpatient settings, collaborating with nurses and oncologists. You will also be responsible for managing chemotherapy orders and addressing side effects related to treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide oncology ambulatory care to patients
• Collaborate with medical teams for comprehensive care
• Write and manage chemotherapy treatment orders
• Monitor and address adverse treatment reactions
• Engage in patient follow-up during therapy
Requirements:
• Current full CPSBC license
• Must hold CCFP designation
• BCCA GPO training is required
