Job Description

Rietvlei Farm, situated in the heart of Simondium, focusses on three livestock branches, including cattle, milk buffaloes and chickens. This year-long contract appointment is ideal for a student looking to broaden their knowledge and complete the practical component of their studies. The offer includes accommodation and one meal per day. We’re excited to receive your application and welcome you as part of our team!
Requirements
A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12) (tertiary education would be beneficial).
Experience with beef cattle, dairy, chickens and AI would be beneficial.
Practical knowledge of irrigation.
Computer literate.
Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
Must be able to work independently and in a team and motivate people.
Honest, reliable individual with sober habits.
Hardworking.
