General Psychiatrist (100-2729) (Permanent Specialty)

Island Health's Department of Psychiatry, South Island, has an opportunity for a part-time Psychiatrist to join the Western Communities MHSU Hub (WC Hub).

The WC Hub features psychiatry services that are fully integrated into a team-based care model where Care Coordinators are the most responsible clinician for clients, connecting them to appropriate service functions within the Hub. This unique approach to services allows Hub psychiatrists to provide ongoing care to clients for as long is as necessary but does not require clients to have a psychiatrist to receive ongoing Hub services. The team psychiatrists work with team members to determine client psychiatry needs, if any, and are welcomed as clinical leaders at the service.
