Assignment Length: Ongoing coverage need Start Date: September 1 Openings: 1 Reason for Coverage: Long-term permanent search Practice Setting: Inpatient and OR coverage Average 20 PPD with 5-7 admissions and 4-6 cases 2 Surgeons on-site during day and 1 Surgeon on-site at night 50% trauma patients Practice includes 6 Surgeons and 6 APPs Level II trauma center Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7 on/7 off schedule 7-15 shifts per month through November Day and night coverage needed Patient Population: Adult (80%), Pediatrics (20%) EMR: EPIC Credentialing: 90 days Requirements: Active Washington licensure Board certification AHA BLS, ACLS and ATLS certifications Minimum 1-year General Surgery experience or equivalent Job Responsibilities (Generalized): Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions Provide pa...
