Generator/HVAC Mechanic – Korea

Job Description:

GDIT has an exciting opportunity available for a Mechanical Engineer, Associate maintaining Tactical/Commercial generators and HVAC systems in Korea. Successful applicant must have an active U.S. Government issued SECRET clearance, a valid passport, be a self-starter, and have a high degree of craftsmanshipquality in their work. 

Description of Duties:

• Perform maintenance and sustainment on 3-kW to 200-kW, 5060400hz generators involving installation and removal of generators from fixed and mobile locations, troubleshoots and rebuilds engines, alternate current (AC) systems, direct current (DC) systems, electronic control systems and other program logic controls, electrical wiring and accessories.

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, Chillers, and Environmental Control Units – some are standalone units and others are mounted on trailers and vehicles.
