PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To build, update and maintain 3D geological Wireframe Models and Depletion Models for the Shaft Operations within a designated area of responsibility. This includes relevant project work studies related to Brownfields, Greenfields, Expansion and Replacement Projects. This work combines all geological data into an output for mine optimization across the lease area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• BSc Honours Degree in Geology is essential.
• Membership of the GSSA is essential.
• Registration as Professional Scientist with SA Council for Natural Scientific Professions is essential.
• MSc Degree in relevant field of Geology is desirable.
• Membership in SAIMM is desirable.
• Minimum 10 years experience in mining geology is essential.
