Gerente de Compras (Antioquia)

As Purchasing Manager your purpose will be to negotiate, coordinate, control and optimize the purchase of materials and services, through the selection, development and evaluation of suppliers, complying with the specifications required by interested parties and following established procedures to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.

This position is located in #Itagui, Antioquia, Colombia. It reports directly to the Global Category Manager – Raw Materials and is a Hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish policies, procedures, and controls in the area to provide specific guidelines to personnel in the region and define responsibilities in the execution of purchasing processes.
• Lead the most important decisions and negotiations in the purchasing area to obtain conditions that benefit PPG in all products and goods purchased.
