Overview

The Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) Division of Geriatrics has an opening for a part time Geriatrician, based in Comox, to join a team of 15 Geriatricians and Care of the Elderly physicians working across Vancouver Island.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to a robust service including outpatient and inpatient consultations.
• Rotation through select specialized geriatric services and work with dedicated multidisciplinary teams in all areas, including nurse practitioners.

Affiliation and Teaching

The Division of Geriatrics is affiliated with the University of British Columbia Island Medical Program, and supports clinical teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate learners.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold FRCPC or Care of the Elderly qualifications.
