Job Description
Step into a pivotal role at GFI as a Hydrogen Quality Inspector and uphold high standards in the alternative fuel sector. This position focuses on meticulous inspection and testing of hydrogen components.
In this role, you will be part of GFI's quality department, reporting to Westport Fuel Systems. Your primary responsibilities include measuring parts, processing rejected components, and overseeing quality documentation. By collaborating with suppliers and conducting internal audits, you will drive continuous improvements and support quality assurance across various applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize Mitutoyo CMM and various tools for measurement
• Create and share detailed inspection reports
• Lead root cause analysis for defects
• Manage the calibration of measurement tools
• Review and communicate quality reports from suppliers
