GFL Chemical Operator – Waste Management

Join GFL as a Chemical Operator focused on waste management at our Napanee location. You will ensure safe procedures in handling both hazardous and non-hazardous waste for clients.
In this role, leverage your expertise in environmental technologies as you engage with clients to manage chemical waste inventories. You'll be responsible for preparing shipments, conducting lab sample collections, and ensuring compliance with waste regulations. An effective communicator, you will also maintain high standards of customer service while completing necessary documentation accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inventory, pack, and remove clients' chemical wastes
• Prepare and ship hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Ensure incoming waste meets acceptance criteria
• Conduct lab sample collection and documentation
• Provide superior customer service and report incidents
Requirements:
• Degree in Chemistry or equivalent
• Experience in waste management is an asset
