Overview

Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC GI Hospitalist to join our Gastroenterology department at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

• Inpatient consults and Inpatient procedures for Gastroenterology

• Annual consult volumes: Pekin Hospital-180, Proctor Hospital-228, Methodist Hospital-528

• Annual procedure volumes: Pekin Hospital-80, Proctor Hospital-124, Methodist Hospital-553

• Schedule is 25 weeks (175 shifts) per year, Monday-Sunday, 24-hour coverage, in-house from 7a-7pm; shifts will include holidays as part of the normal schedule rotation

• Full time Advanced Practitioner support for daytime coverage

• 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients

• EPIC EMR

• Triage calls for GI and round on patients at all three hospital ...
