GIS Internship

Meraque Group is looking for a GIS – Replanting Intern to support our on-ground GIS operations. This internship is ideal for students who enjoy fieldwork, mapping, data collection, and want real exposure to GIS applications in environmental and replanting projects.
This is a hands-on internship, you will work closely with our GIS team, both on-site and in office, contributing directly to real projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the GIS team in on-ground data collection related to replanting and land use
Support GPS data capture, site verification, and ground truthing activities
Assist in updating and maintaining GIS maps, layers, and spatial databases
Support basic GIS analysis and reporting
Participate in site visits, surveys, and replanting-related activities
Assist with documentation, data validation, and project records
