GL Accountant

Position: GL Accountant (5-months-November through April, Maternity Cover)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – HYBRID (2-days office)

The GL accountant position is responsible for reviewing and reporting on various activities related to the operations, variance analysis, and month-end processes. The accountant will also work closely with other functional teams on processes, and be a key voice in improving those processes they are involved in. This position will work closely with US and International operations related to GL Accounting including with the fixed assets. In addition, the position will perform key functions that will assist with SOX compliance and financial reporting.

• Maintain accounting records including data entry of complete and accurate data for day-to-day business transactions for account payable, payroll, fixed asset, accounts receivable and all general ledger under US GAAP.
