GL Team Lead

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and guide the finance team in managing daily accounting operations, month-end and year-end closings, and preparing or reviewing financial reports and audit schedules.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial statements, including reconciling accounts, handling miscellaneous transactions, and addressing internal queries.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and intercompany teams on compliance, corporate tax, GST filings, and grant-related matters.
• Drive and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving accounting processes and overall financial efficiency.

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role is preferred.
