Main Job Purpose
To Supply the line with correct clean glass to meet the Scheduled Production Plan. Inspection of glass being flopped to ensure there are no visible defects. Reporting and recording any breakages and glass loss at the flopping table.
Main Objective
Off-load and load glass onto trailers and packing onto frames.
Assist in offloading import containers.
Assist Crane Drivers in handling the crane grab when loading, offloading or moving glass.
Manually remove broken sheets of glass from the packs.
Count the number of plates per pack and assist in stock takes.
Ensure housekeeping standards are met.
Recording of losses with the warehouse supervisor & assist in maintaining stock accuracy.
