Global Category Manager Direct Materials

Overview

We are supporting a global industrial manufacturing organization with the appointment of a Global Category Manager Direct Materials , playing a key role in strengthening and future-proofing its international supply base.

This role has a strong focus on direct materials sourcing across complex, engineered categories and offers significant global exposure within a highly technical, project-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver global category strategies across direct materials (e.g. machined parts, metals, electronics, C-parts, selected packaging)
• Lead and coordinate regional category managers and sourcing teams across multiple international hubs
• Drive cost competitiveness, supply resilience, quality, and on-time delivery across the direct materials portfolio
