Job Description Job/Group Overview:

Nomura Front Office risk team monitors and communicates the risk taking of Nomura’s trading desks to trading management. In addition it is involved in a number of different functions and projects like trader stop-loss monitoring, intraday risk as well as regulatory related projects like FRTB etc.
Responsibilities:

Understand the risk taking of Nomura Global Markets trading desks and be able to communicate it in a clear and concise way. Monitor Stop/Loss breaches for traders on Japan side and ensure transparency and escalation of any breaches. Follow the overall market and do market summaries for weekly risk call. Maintain and develop daily risk reports (in Python) to monitor trading positions and risk trends, both for Japan and Global risk taking. It is a generalist role and requires the abilit...
