Job Description

GM Diesel Technician


We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician with experience servicing General Motors (GM) vehicles and diesel engines to join our dealership service department. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain GM diesel trucks and vehicles while ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair GM diesel engines and drivetrain systems
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on Duramax diesel engines
  • Troubleshoot engine performance, fuel systems, electrical systems, and emissions components
  • Use GM diagnostic equipment and service software
  • Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and scheduled services
  • Repair braking, suspension, steering, and drivetrain systems
