The Google Cloud Business Development Consultant serves as the key contact for driving growth in Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace. This role balances two main objectives: managing relationships with existing customers to secure renewals and upselling opportunities and validating new leads endorsed by Google to convert them into sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Qualification
· Contact leads endorsed by Google to verify interest in GWS and GCP solutions.
· Generate leads through proactive outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling (e.g., LinkedIn)
· Learn and assess prospects using the BANT method (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline).
· Collaborate with TSCs and provide support to customer meetings to help validate potential sales opportunities. Help provide minutes of meetings within 24 to 48 hrs. after each call.
