Governance & Securities Counsel Position

Join CN as a Legal Counsel specializing in governance and securities law. Drive compliance and effective disclosures within a collaborative, safety-focused environment.
In this central, cross-functional role, you will provide legal guidance on public disclosures and corporate governance. Partner closely with the Corporate Secretary’s Office to prepare for Board meetings and SEC filings, and help negotiate complex financial transactions. Your insights will help steer CN through regulatory changes while maintaining excellence in disclosure practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Board meeting logistics and documentation
• Draft and evaluate regulatory filings and disclosure statements
• Advise on materiality assessments and governance trends
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects within the company
• Manage external legal counsel as needed
