Elk Valley Resources (EVR) seeks a Government Affairs Advisor to enhance its advocacy work at the provincial and federal levels. This role focuses on building relationships and understanding the B.C. mining sector.
As a core member of EVR’s team reporting to the Director of Regulatory & Government Affairs, your expertise in B.C.'s mining landscape and strong interpersonal skills will make a significant impact. You will be tasked with developing policy-related content and monitoring legislation that affects EVR’s operations, all while enjoying a compressed work week and alternating Fridays off.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor provincial and federal policy activities
• Develop briefing notes and other policy content
• Coordinate government submissions and information requests
• Collaborate across departments on policy changes
