About the role

Our client is the Commonwealth’s independent regulatory authority responsible for maintaining the integrity of the management of water resources in the Murray-Darling Basin. We are seeking professionals at the senior associate level to be engaged as a legal secondee within their Legal Services Branch. The successful candidate will provide legal advice on a broad range of complex and sensitive matters, prepare and draft legal documentation, and proactively engage with key stakeholders as a trusted legal advisor.

An initial 3-month labour hire contract is on offer, with prospects of further extension.

This role is full time (40 hours per week) and can be undertaken from multiple locations across Australia (flexible and remote working arrangements are supported).

Please note: only Australian citizens with a minimum existing Baseline security clearance will be considered for this role.
