Grade 8/9 High School Teacher

The successful candidate

will be working and playing in the traditional territory of Gitxaała Nation with the opportunity to engage with local culture and traditions and participate in community events. You will bring recent and successful classroom experience teaching at the high school level. This position requires a deep commitment to indigenization, a competency-based curriculum, and innovative approaches that support multi-grade learners. Your classroom management creates a safe, positive, and respectful learning climate for all students.You use strength-based, student-centered approaches to plan engaging and educational lessons based on BC Ministry of Education standards.
