Kichton Contracting is seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to join our team. Kichton Contracting Ltd (KCL) has been in business since 1963 and is based out of Acheson, Alberta, Canada. KCL is classified as a medium-sized civil earthworks contractor. Our work ranges from residential earthworks, commercial site development, to industrial projects. Our services include grading design for all types of new commercial and industrial sites along with retrofitting existing sites to accommodate new site development.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Achieve the correct grade by directing operators of equipment to adjust grade by moving earth gravel and other material
• Able to read and understand blueprints as well as strong math skills
• Measure distances from reference points to locate boundaries of construction site
• Verify elevation of graded surface using a hand level, tape measure and laser level
