Grader / Heavy Machine Operator – Civil Construction (Queenstown, Otago)


We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Grader / Heavy Machine Operator to join our client’s civil construction team in Queenstown, Otago. You will play a key role in various civil infrastructure and roading projects across the region. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, takes pride in their craft, and is willing to work hard alongside the team while keeping a humble attitude.



Responsibilities:

Operate grader and other plant machinery as required.

Grade to final trim with precision.

Assist with general labouring duties when needed.

Operate machinery safely, following manufacturer instructions.

Perform weekly prestart inspections of plant and machinery (greasing, cleaning, maintenance).

Complete a variety of civil engineering tasks.

Assess hazards and initiate safety solutions.
