Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the COE faculty member, participate in a Hawaii Education Research Network (HERN) partnershipbetween the Hawai‘i Department of Education (HIDOE) and UHM’s College of Education.
Conduct research on elementary math education and formative assessment. Research tasks may include but are not limited to: conducting literature searches and reviews on methods for assessing procedural fluency, meeting with project partners and stakeholders, assist in developing and submitting an IRB application for the project, collecting, organizing, and analyzing information and data, synthesizing findings, and with guidance from faculty, writing ...
