Team/division description
In TME R&D, we are responsible for the planning, the development and validation of units & parts for the European produced vehicles. In the ultra-competitive race towards electrification leadership, the next generation Powertrain parts are more than ever crucial to meet customer demands, regulations and contributing towards a carbon-neutral society.
The Powertrain E-axle teams’ responsibilities are:
Local Design prediction & evaluation of E-axles & parts for the European market, matching European suppliers' production methods and the high Toyota quality standards, in close cooperation with local our mother divisions in Toyota Motor Corporation Headquarters in Japan.
Support the shift to electrification by investigating European trends for E-axles and related components.
