**Position Purpose**

The 12-month Nurse Residency Program at **Saint** **Francis Hospital and Medical Center** in Hartford, CT supports newly graduated RNs — or RNs with less than one year of experience — as they transition from entry‑level practice to professional competence. The program provides structured education, clinical support, and guided experience to build confidence and core nursing skills.
