Join BroadGrain Commodities in Toronto, Ontario as a Grain Buyer. This role focuses on purchasing grains while building relationships and delivering top-tier service.
In this position, you will work closely with growers, providing market insights and cash bids for grain. Reporting to the Senior Grain Buyer, it’s essential to achieve growth and profitability through effective procurement plans. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for developing enduring relationships with customers and supporting educational initiatives in grain marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Purchase grain for delivery to BroadGrain facilities
• Provide market information and establish grain marketing plans
• Deliver ongoing market feedback to traders
• Plan and organize grain marketing educational programs
• Serve as a primary contact for customer service inquiries
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3–5 years in agricultural and merchandising roles
