The Queer Film Collective (QFC) is a Los Angeles–based nonprofit dedicated to supporting, uplifting, and connecting LGBTQ+ filmmakers at every stage of their careers. We exist to create the kind of industry we wish we had entered—one that is accessible, collaborative, and genuinely inclusive.

We serve queer creatives across disciplines, with a focus on early‑career and emerging artists who are often shut out of traditional industry pathways. Through community events, screenings, educational programming, and production opportunities, we aim to remove barriers and create tangible pathways into the entertainment industry.

At our core, QFC is about community over competition. We believe that queer storytelling is essential, that representation behind the camera matters just as much as on screen, and that no one should have to navigate this industry alone.
