Greenhouse structural engineer

Our client is a leading supplier of controlled environment agriculture (CEA) solutions in South Africa and they are seeking a Greenhouse Structural Engineer to join their team in Kraaifontein, Cape Town.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate will form part of the Engineering and Projects Team and report to the Engineering Manager. This individual must be able to function as part of an engineering team, working closely with and advising other design and engineering staff. The candidate must have an excellent understanding of relevant local and international codes, the full project life cycle, as well as knowledge of the relevant modern manufacturing techniques.

REQUIREMENTS: BSc Degree (Civil/Structural Engineering) or equivalent. Experience with RISA-3 D, RAM Elements, CASTA or similar structural engineering software. More than 3 years experience in a similar role. Experience with greenhouse structural desig...
