Grid and Transmission Line Engineer

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer (Registered Electrical Engineer);
• At least 5 years of experience in grid integration, substation testing, and commissioning;
• In-depth knowledge of International and Philippine Electrical Standards, including local energy regulations;
• Strong technical, coordination, and stakeholder management skills;
• Willing to travel to various project sites as required.

Major Responsibilities:

• Coordinates with NGCP and other regulatory bodies to secure clearances from technical assessment to final approval for project interconnection.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of transmission line and interconnection works.
• Prepares and submits reliable technical documentation and requirements to NGCP or Distribution Utilities (DU) for both grid-connected and embedded projects.
