Job Description

Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies, and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking a Ground Cargo / Freight Supervisor to support a unique US Navy program based on the island of Diego Garcia. The Ground Cargo / Freight Supervisor will oversee all freight and cargo operations, ensuring the timely and efficient preparation, loading, unloading, transportation, and shipment of cargo, including hazardous materials (HAZMAT).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate cargo-loading services, ensuring all cargo is accurately and properly loaded in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Ensure vehicles used for transporting ammunition, explosives, dangerous goods, and HAZMAT are correctly marked, equipped, and operated in compliance with NAVSEA OP-2239, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, and other applicable regulations by the Department of Transporta...
