Job Description

With Ofwat’s AMP8 investment programme injecting £88 billion into the UK water sector, Structural Soils is poised to play a pivotal role in delivering geotechnical excellence across major infrastructure projects. We’re seeking a Geotechnical / Ground Engineer with 4 – 10 years’ UK based experience to deliver complex ground investigations, primarily within the water sector. The role will be primarily site based in the south of England.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver geotechnical projects from inception to completion.
Supervising, managing and completing intrusive ground investigations involving multiple techniques including sonic, rotary, cable percussion and window sampling boreholes, geophysics, trial pits amongst others.
Soil and rock logging to current geotechnical standards, including laboratory scheduling.
Collaborate with clients, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams.
