Group Accountant

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Group Accountant or Senior Accountant to join the dynamic team at Chiang Heng Gold & Diamond S/B. Based in Perai, Penang, this full-time role will see you take on a key position within the company's finance department, contributing to the overall financial health and strategic direction of the organization.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly group consolidated accounts accurately and on time.
• Finalize financial statements, tax reporting, budgets and forecasts within deadlines.
• Review and prepare tax computations, returns, and related schedules.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, MFRS, Bursa Malaysia requirements, and internal policies.
• Perform financial analysis and management reporting for the Board and stakeholders.
• Support audit processes, system improvements, and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
