Group Mineral Reserve Mining Engineer

Our client in the mining industry is seeking a highly experienced Group Mineral Reserve Mining Engineer to oversee long-term and annual life-of-mine planning and Mineral Reserve Estimation. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with SAMREC and other reporting standards, develop internal reserve estimation capabilities, and provide technical mine planning solutions for operational, reconciliation, and ad hoc projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead long-term and medium-term mine planning cycles to support strategic and operational objectives.
• Develop, enhance, and implement mine planning policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Prepare and update annual Long-Term Plans (LTP), Medium-Term Plans (MTP), and Life-of-Mine strategies.
• Conduct SAMREC-compliant Mineral Reserve Estimations and serve as Competent Person where applicable.
