GS Customs Specialist (CH)

Role

To prepare and execute customs clearance declarations on behalf of internal stakeholders within the Kuehne+Nagel network. The declarations should also be compliant with both customer instructions and government regulations and processed in a timely manner.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute import and export declarations according to customs regulations, laws, and procedures within the stakeholder country.
• Creation of transit documentation as required.
• Ensuring that customs clearance instructions provided are adhered to accurately.
• Use customs systems provided to calculate and process duties, taxes, and other customs related charges.
• Confirming classifications given are accurate for commodities being imported or exported.
