Job Description

The Geology and Sustainable Mining Institute (GSMI) of University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) invites applications for a full-time Professor position in the field of Economic Geology specializing Base and Precious-Metal Deposits, with an expected start as soon as possible. The appointment will be at the Professor level depending on the curriculum vitae and past experience of the successful candidate.

This position targets internationally renowned candidates with proven Metallogeny, Ore Mineralogy and Isotope Geochemistry preferably in combined field and analytical research applied to Base and Precious-Metal Deposits (Cu, Ni, Sn, Pb, Zn, Au, Ag, Ptetc) . We require experience in a range of metallic ore deposits including magmatic, metamorphic and basin-hosted deposits including MVTs, SEDEX and Carlin-type deposits.
