GTS Broker

GENERAL SUMMARY

To perform duties relevant to the processing of low value (LVS) shipments in accordance with Canadian Customs and other government departments regulations and legislation. To provide accurate information and assistance to customers requiring international shipment information. Primary focus of this role is on commercial shipments.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Educational Requirements

Post Secondary: Community College Diploma/Equivalent

Professional accreditation/certification: Canadian Customs Specialist or CSCB qualified

Experience Requirements

• One year experience required (FedEx preferred) with basic knowledge of Canadian Customs Regulations related to International Operations.
• Incumbents must maintain their CCS designation when in this position; must achieve annual re‑currency points.
• Must have ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs...
