guidance counselor

To provide valuable assistance to the Guidance Director in planning, implementing and evaluating the guidance and counseling programs of the University as well as conduct guidance and counseling among students.

DUTIES:

• Performs duties and responsibilities of a full time counselor for individuals and groups;
• Conducts counseling sessions by appointment as referred by departments or offices such as OSA or to walk-ins;
• Records/transcribes counseling sessions in counseling journal after each session;
• Prepares psychological reports and counseling notes, as needed;
• Checks and ensures that weekly targets of unit are met;
• Distributes call slips when necessary for upcoming week's sessions;
• Coordinates and conducts guidance classes and activities like symposia, seminars, enrichment programs, group dynamics, exposures, outreach programs and dialogues;
