Lodge Manager Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, or related field.
Guide Recognised Tourist Guide qualification. Valid guiding certification and permits. First Aid certificate and valid driver’s licence with PDP (where required). Experience 3–5 years’ experience in hospitality or lodge management. Previous guiding experience in a lodge, reserve, or safari environment. Experience in guest relations and staff supervision. Knowledge Lodge and hospitality operations. Wildlife, conservation, and tourism practices. Health and safety regulations. Customer service and guest experience management. Skills Leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Guiding and storytelling skills. Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
